We live in a fast-paced world where, frequently, the key to one’s success is not their passion or knowledge but rather the financial resources a person holds. As an organisation, we aim to challenge the inequality that is produced in such circumstances – we want everyone to be able to support and express themselves regardless of their financial status. We also believe that the best investment a person can make is the one that will broaden their horizons and teach them new and valuable skills.
As a local organisation working in one of England’s most economically disadvantaged regions, we find it particularly important to help people develop skills needed to manage personal finances. Our Financial Education trainings cover concepts such as: financial security; financial preparedness for the future; and building and leaving a legacy.

We believe that money is not only about the numbers and expenses, that is why we also teach about: setting your economic goals; planning towards success; positive affirmations and thinking; and imposter syndrome. We educate about both practical and encouraging skills to help people build a healthy relationship with their money.

After our training session, we hope you will:

  • Understand how money works, how to deal with it efficiently and how to work towards financial freedom;
  • Feel inspired to improve yourself through positive thinking and affirmations;
  • Feel confident with the new skills that will help you overcome unhealthy money-related habits.

A training session will be held every 2 months over a weekend. The topics are provided and agreed upon a month in advance. Each session will take between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
