Celebrating Black Queens

By Vivienne Amijee

Do good and the universe will return you the favour in due time.

For a long time, black women, especially those in Africa, have been known to only bear children and tend to their homes; this has gradually changed over the decades. We have been able to lead in school/academics, work and other social forums. Look at us now, we have the globe to concur.

We are strong, we are smart and we are beautiful. This black history month, celebrate the woman/women who made you believe in yourself. If it’s your mother, go ahead and thank her for not only bringing you into this beautiful world but for also helping you to be a better woman. Never forget the people who helped you get to where you are in life, be thankful at every stage of the way.

Happy Black History Month 🙂
